Create storyboards with AI — frame by frame, in seconds

Storyboarding is the fastest way to turn a script idea into visual scenes. Type a description, attach a reference image if you have one, and the AI generates a frame in 2–4 seconds. Need motion? Generate a 4–8 second video clip with Veo 3 Fast. No drawing skills, no stock library hunt, no Photoshop comp.

Nano Banana for instant scene generation

Storyboarding uses Google's Gemini 2.5 Flash Image — codename Nano Banana — the state-of-the-art model for instant image generation. Type a scene description ("low-angle wide shot of a neon-lit Tokyo alley at night, rain-slick asphalt, anamorphic lens flare") and you get a frame back in 2–4 seconds. Iterate by editing the prompt; each generation is a new attempt without losing previous frames.

Reference-aware generation

Stock prompts produce stock outputs. Attach reference images — a director's lookbook, screenshots from a film you're modeling after, a Polaroid you shot on location — and the AI generates frames that match the palette, lighting, and composition of your references. This is how directors get on-brand boards without stock-image vibes.

Veo 3 Fast for video clips

When you need motion to sell a transition or test a camera move, generate a 4, 6, or 8 second clip with Veo 3 Fast. 16:9 widescreen or 9:16 vertical. Generated in 30–60 seconds. Drop it directly into a scene; it plays inline in the editor and exports natively in your animatic MP4.

Plan first, fill later

Add empty scene slots first to plan a chapter's structure, then fill each one — generate with AI, upload, or paste a reference URL. Or work the other way and generate first, reorder later with drag-and-drop. The flow is yours.

Frequently asked questions

What AI model powers the image generation?

Google's Gemini 2.5 Flash Image (Nano Banana). It returns a finished PNG in 2–4 seconds. Reference images are supported for style matching.

What about video generation?

Veo 3 Fast — Google's fast video generation model. 4, 6, or 8 second clips at 16:9 or 9:16, generated in 30–60 seconds.

Can I use my own reference images to guide the AI?

Yes. Attach reference images when you generate a scene; the AI matches the palette and composition of your references.

How is the AI generation priced?

Free to start during beta. Pricing for high-volume usage is on the roadmap.

Are AI-generated frames usable as final deliverables?

They're storyboard frames — for pre-production, pitch decks, and treatments. Not finished VFX. The point is to communicate intent fast, not replace the production.
