Feature
Share storyboards in one click — no account required
Sharing a storyboard should not involve onboarding the client to a new tool. Storyboarding's share links are tokenized, scoped, and expire automatically — your reviewer clicks the link, sees the storyboard, and (optionally) comments on scenes. No signup, no friction, no "can you forward me the invite again?"
One-click share from the editor
Click Share in any storyboard. Choose scope (whole storyboard or single chapter) and permission (comment-only or view-only). Copy the link. That's it. The reviewer opens the link and sees the storyboard, formatted for review with the same layout as the editor minus the controls they don't need.
Tokenized and time-limited
Every share link is a JWT, signed with a server secret. Tokens expire after 30 days by default and can be revoked instantly. The link is unguessable and unforgeable — only people you send it to can access it.
Comment-only mode for client review
Comment-only mode lets reviewers see the storyboard and comment on individual scenes without creating an account. They enter their name once (saved in their browser), comment on as many scenes as they want, and the comments appear in your editor next to authenticated team comments.
View-only for execs and stakeholders
Sometimes you want someone to see but not comment — a senior exec, a brand partner, a journalist getting a sneak peek. View-only mode shows the storyboard without the comment input. Reviewer sees everything, can't change anything.
Frequently asked questions
Can reviewers comment without an account?
Yes. Comment-only share links let reviewers leave per-scene comments as a guest — they enter their name once.
How long do share links last?
30 days by default. You can revoke them earlier from the share modal at any time.
Can I share just a single chapter, not the whole storyboard?
Yes. The Share modal has scope options — full storyboard or single chapter.
Are share links secure?
Yes. JWT-signed with a server secret. Unguessable, time-limited, revocable.
Can I see who viewed a share link?
Per-link view tracking is on the roadmap. Currently you see comments left by reviewers, with the name they entered.
